I am a graduate of Paul Smith’s College with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. I am seriously passionate about making food and experimenting in the kitchen! I love to explore with gluten-free and vegan recipes along with traditional baked goods that everyone loves.
I am beyond thrilled to be opening Anastasia’s Bakery this spring in the small town of Madrid, NY… It has been a vision of mine for quite a few years to have a spot near home where I can spend my days in a kitchen doing what I love. It won’t be the regular bakery where you walk in a buy something out of a case, at least not yet. For the first few months I will merely be taking orders so I can get accustomed to what people in the North Country would be the most interested in. Eventually it will grow into more, but I am taking it slow and making sure customer service is the best I can make it.
The business has been the talk of the town since before I went to college and I am ecstatic to unfold it into reality!
Icing For Joy
Writing the Icing for Joy column as part of BIRCH Magazine is amazing and will allow me to share.
I will be able to write stories, recipes, tips; answer questions, show pictures and be more than glad to talk of my adventures with such a variety of readers and new people. I am very honored to begin a new chapter in life and widen my connections with the beautiful North Country I call home!
Please be sure to follow all my bakery adventures on Facebook!
